365 Update

5-25-09 Memorial Day in Shrewsbury. Grady marched in the parade with his Cub Den. Grant did not want to march this year so he hung out with all of us and watch. It was really fun this year because we walked up from our new house to the center of town.


5-26-09 A little fun before the bus came for school today.

5-27-09 My geraniams my mom gave me for my front steps..they are so pretty.

5-28-09 This is my main reading focus latley. This one issue gave me so many really neat ideas for my new kitchen...oh I can't wait to see it.

5-28-09 Grant as Alexander Graham Bell.

5-29-09 My mom got her other eye done today. She has cateracts...and now can see without glasses. What an amazing thing.

5-30-09 So, Helen told me about going to the Worcester Telegraph and Gazette for newspring paper for wrapping my china in when I start packing. So, today I went to pick it up and I met this realy neat guy named Bernie. He took me for a tour of the newspaper and it was really cool. Also, really sad to hear that they are loosing so many jobs and folks are just not reading the paper copies of the NP anymore. What a fun experience this was. This photo is of the newsprint realls as they sit under the press and get ready to be pulled up when the paper is printed.

5-31-09 Here is Grady checking out the stamin on a flower at the botanical garden. I was one of his cheperones today for his field trip.

6-1-09 Here is Grant walking to the center of town for his field trip to the Sumner House and Shrewsbury Historical Society. Daddy went on this trip.

6-2-09 Lemonade anyone. You can tell the weather is getting better. Lots of lemonade stands are popping up. This one was at my friend Maria's house.

Well, I am done for now. Got to get the rest of Junes photos off my camera and get moving. Have a good one.

365 Update!

Two of my favorite ladies gave me a kick in the butt to get moving on uploading my 365 photos...Thanks Nicole and Carolyn!! Here goes. I need to do more then one post or I may single handedly take down blogger.

5-7-09 Grant and one of his favorite snacks...Churros. We get them at the food court at BJs.

5-10-09 This is a photo of my grandmother, Claire, and her best bud Ace. She came to visit us on Mother's day...it was so nice to see her. The kids don't get that chance very much so it was even more of a treat for them to see her on Mother's Day.

5-11-09 I love this photos of the boys playing out front in the yard. I love they way Grant is out of focus and you have got to love Grady's lazy expression.

5-12-09 One of my favorite hostas in my yard....poo poo it will not be coming with me to the new house. I think this one is about 40+ years old. It came from my mom's garden and she tells me she got the first part of it when I was a baby. This one started out with me as a 1 foot wide plant and now it is about 5 feet wide.

5-16-09 A little treat after a good game of ball.

5-17-09 One of our many trips to Home Depot. We spend lots of time there now. Grady is walking out with his new shovel over his shoulder.

5-18-09 Gregg on one of his many grass trimming nights. He has to do this at two houses now. He will be so excited when he only has to do it in one place. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY OLDEST AND DEAREST FRIEND...JILL!

No photos but and update...

....it is better then nothing at all.

So, the electrician shows up yesterday to start on the kitchen...you know recessed lights, under cabinet lights and so forth. Well, he tells us later in the afternoon since the NONE of the kitchen wiring is up to code now he has to rewire the entire kitchen back to the breaker box....YAY. Can you all say CAAAACHINGGGG$$$$$$

But, despite this setback we are super excited and can't wait to move in. The moving trucks come two weeks from Monday. We basically have not even started packing things yet. Oh well, it will all work out when the time comes.

We are very excited about the kitchen going in and that seems to be moving along, even with the rewiring. And Gregg went and got the camper from Becky and Mike last night so our baby is home with us in its spot next to the garage.

Well, off to take a shower and head to Grant's Alexander Graham Bell presentation. Have a good one!

I am working on it

I am working on it....yes a post about what has been going on in my life. As you can see from no posts....WE ARE NUTS! We closed on our new/old house at the end of April, decided to gut the kitchen (painting the cabinets was just not going to do it for us), all the floors have been refinished and we have a signed offer on our Keyes House Rd. House....YAY us! The moving trucks come on the 22nd and then we are Holman bound.

I am so excited about the kitchen, the same guy who did our current one is going to do this one. He is amazing and just so much fun to work with. They are all custom so we pick what we want and he just makes it happen.

Well, baseball and softball are not over yet so I have to run. Got practice and a game tonight. Hope all is well and thanks for stopping by. I will have pics soon...promise. Leave me a note so I know you have not given up on me.
