I Hope you enjoyed the weekend, my daughter and I went to NYC to see Wicked with my Mom and we had a blast! If you have not seen the show Wicked it is a must see for sure. You will never watch the Wizard of Oz in the same way again.
Today is another sneak peak for Karen Foter. But first I need to let you know about a little glitch with our daily giveaway...we didn't post the "Spring" contest last week so today you can enter twice - once at Tania's blog to win a collection of the brand new Spring themed products and once at Carole's blog where she will be showcasing "Sweet 16" and a drawing to win those products. I also have some Sweet 16 layouts to show you below...hope you like them. You will have until 11:59pm MST on Tuesday, Jan 27 to enter both giveaways.
Also, I have a winner for my contest that ended on Friday of last week. I will post the winner to this tomorrow on my blog. My random number pikcers just got on the bus for school so they will be back on the job picking the winner when they get home this afternoon.
So, let me stop yapping now and show you the new Karen Foster Sweet 16 line. I really love the papers (Pink Zebra and Pink Leopard) in this line and the stickers are super cute. Here I used the sticker of the car and car keys to create a layout about a new driver. Added in some Mirror sparkle brads and what a cute result.
Here is a close up of the car key sticker, I cut them out and mounted them on cardstock, then cut them out and attached them with pop dots. You can also see how fun the sparkle brads are here.
Here is another layout using the Pink Leopard paper and some more stickers. I hand cut the paper and punched the holes with my Crop O Dile. The stickers are mounted on cardstock and then attached with pop dots. (can you see the obsession with pop dots?). To finish some of the stikcers off I blinged them up with some sticklers glitter glue.
Here is a close up of the stickers using some Sweetheart sparkle brads.
Here is another sample using more stickers. You know I got all three of these layouts out of 4 sheets of pp, one set each of the sparkle brads and burst brads, 2 stickers sheets. Pretty good...huh?
And another close up of the stickers and burst brads.
