Another fun one with Technique Tuesday Stamps

Grady and I spend every morning together due to the fact he is only in half day kindergarten. We have a blast together. Besides our daily trips to the PO with orders we also make a weekly trip to McDonald's for lunch. We used to have car picnics but when I got my new car in November they stopped. Well, until my kids have ruined my car so much that I just give up trying to keep it clean. And that should be any day now. We now go in and sit at a table.
So, we have our weekly trip to McDonalds (btw...I only get a diet coke and I bring a protein bar with me...lol) and we also spend most days in my scrap studio. I am either packing up orders or doing design work for someone, and my little buddy is by my side. One of Grady's favorite things to do it to stamp. He just has a blast stamping and cutting out things he makes. His favorite stamps are one of Buzz Lightyear and our first dog Belle. Some times if he is lucky I break out the TT stamps but only on special occasions. Those stamps are in the "Special Binders" and Grady knows they are off limits, unless he is going to belly up to the sink and clean them up good when he is done.
I made sure to caption this moment for the future in the layout above....how cute is he in my SBO apron. Pretty darn cute I must say!
Supplies Used:

Grant's Art Class

I just got back from volunteering in Grant's art class. They were using different shapes to create a person. Grant's was this totally cool basketball player making a slam dunk! He was so happy to have me in class today. I have been unable to make it for a while and he has been really bummed about it. The teacher says he has been having a hard time coping in class. Poor little Grant...he is just way to hard on himself. Any way we had a great time and I am hoping to get in there again next week.

Scrapping Today!!! YAY!!!
I am off in a while to scrap with a good friend. We go to these Friday night crops at a local shop. Kind of funny seeing that I own my own shop....lol. But, I find it is nice to get a away for the day...we go early in the day and stay all night. Helen and I have a great time together and we have a lot in common. I plan on working on some of Grant's Boy Scout pages and some more of Gail's theater photos. Of course I have a few birthdays and Halloween waiting to be done also. So, I think I have enough to keep me busy. Have a great day to whoever will read my blog today. Go get some scrapping done and post it in the gallery at SBO.

More Technique Tuesday
I think this photo is one of my most scrapped photos ever. It was taken on the 4th of July about 4 years ago. I just LOVE it. The kids all look so sweet and patriotic. We were at the holiday celebration at Dean Park (local park in our town). There were jumping things, slides, hot dogs...you name it.When I started to pull photos for my TT layouts this one jumped right at me. I just had to scrap it. And the TT stamps I used were perfect for every part of this layout.
Love this close up...shows off my obsession for POP Dots!
And of course I had to toss in just one more of my sweet little Grant. Does this kid have the best eyes or what?

Cookie Day!
Gail got the original Girl Scout cookie recipe at her meeting the other day so we started off making them this morning. The dough is chilling now. We are thinking we will put orange icing on them, at Daddy's suggestion. Then we moved on to homemade dog biscuits for ACE. We thought it only fitting for our "Organic Dog"....ya right. This is the same dog that just tossed up part of Gregg's yoga mat he ate last night for a snack. I am not thinking synthetic plastic is too organic!
And later today we are going to picking up all the cookies Gail sold this year for her troop. So, on this snowy day in MA we will be going all cookie!! Oh, and a few Pine Wood Derby cards mixed in. We have three of them going....but they are being saved for tomorrow's post. Here is our Organic Dog sitting pretty in his red chair. He is waiting for his scrumptious treats to come out of the oven. Is he just the most cumfy looking pup or what?
